Monday, July 31, 2023 - Not much to add from notes in February of this year. Still drinking beautifully after 1.5 hour decant through aerator. The cork broke in half but good seal nonetheless. The bottle has been laid down and no signs of streaking. Ink staining on the cork end, this vintage still has some life. I love the old world Bordeaux hints. This is not a California fruit bomb, but a subtle, silky although medium finish. The nose is lovely and it's such a pleasure to sip. Sticking with 94, I would score higher if it were more complex and longer finish.
