Thursday, May 25, 2017 - What a wonderful wine at age 25. Popped and poured. Cork fell apart and there was a little gap in the fill. Wine showed age in the color, but not more than I would expect for the age of the wine. Good out of the bottle, and improved with a bit of air. Held strong for at least 45 minutes and maybe longer but we did not revisit. Great fruit, still showing plenty of ripe fruit and a concentrated, long, finish. Makes me excited for the 2012 at age 25...even more so for the 2012 Reserve...A-
