Thursday, April 6, 2023 - Tasted during a visit to the estate. Limited wines on offer given the devastating 2021 vintage which saw the loss of ~60% of the volume due to frost. Otherwise, we were told 2021 was a more classic, early drinking vintage.

This Chassagne-Montrachet was nicely facetted with smoke, citrus, orange peel, melted butter, mineral notes and oak flavors. Expansive palate, crisp with a good length. A step-up from the Rully, but lacking precision and linearity.
