Saturday, September 13, 2008 - The nose shows very bright raspberry and blackcurrant fruit. In the background there's a lot of cola and tea. The palate is beautifully balanced, shows berry fruit and more secondary characteristic particularly the fruity cola. Very full, very powerful, yet also smooth without any jagged edges at all and a long finish, this still has many, many years ahead of it. The tannin, acidity and alcohol are all so balanced that you don't notice any of them. Correct, elegant and very enjoyable.
