Wednesday, April 17, 2024 - Under natural cork. Pnp. Deep black cherry colour. Nice, deeply fruited nose of dark black and purple fruits, bumbleberry, cocoa nibs, sous bois, dark minerals and blue suede on the nose. Medium-full bodied, high smooth tannins, bug fruit extract, good acidity and enough alcohol to balance it all out. The palate closely follows the nose. Lots of dark bumbleberry fruit, semi-sweet chocolate, sous bois, suede and chalky minerals. Finishes long, dry and with some tannic astringency. Not overly complex but pretty nice!
