Sunday, February 19, 2017 - Medium to dark but translucent garnet with just a tinge of brick on the edge. Nose of underbrush, cherry, cedar, violets and a medicinal/spicy aroma. On the palate I get cherry, clove, cedar, earthy mushroom and a slightly tannic finish with some chocolate. Nicely balanced with plenty of life left. This does scream Barolo at the first sip. Better with some air.
