Thursday, April 25, 2024 - The 2019 Trebbiano d'Abruzzo is a beautiful vintage for Valentini, unfurling in the glass with gently reductive aromas of briny green olive, mandarin pith, fresh fennel, fennel seed and wet stones. Medium to full-bodied, layered and textural, with a deep core that's framed by palate-coating reserves of enlivening dry extract, in its aromatic profile and its antimony of texture and mordancy it's uniquely Italian, yet it can stand alongside some of France's greatest whites.
