Wednesday, January 9, 2008 - Some sweat, pipe tobacco, chocolate and pomegranate showing though on a very interesting nose. Delicious cherries that carry right on through to the mid-palate where some secondary flavours of coffee/mocha make their appearance. Finish comes off a little syrupy with a hint of cedar. Heat shows through a little too much on finish. High acidity and very soft tannins.
