Thursday, January 1, 2015 - Bright yellow colour. A lovely nose that is noticeably smoky, toasted and bready, with ripe yellow fruit including yellow apples, hints of tropical fruit and honey. Medium bodied (+), palate with yellow and some green apples, citrus fruit, good acidity, good minerality, a hint of spice, and a fresh aftertaste. Constitently shows quite a lot of developed notes for a "standard" NV Champagne and therefore ready to drink.
This bottle marked as cellared (mis en crayères) in 2008 and disgorged in 2012.
