Wednesday, May 9, 2018 - An Overdue Wednesday Wine Lunch (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Light gold color. Drank 2 glasses over an hour. Ummm, this was delicious. EFW made reference to this being a baby M/V Krug, and you'd be hard pressed not to see the similarities. Based of 2008, this has immense depth and power. The classic toasted yeastiness is there in spades, deep with great body and a creamy texture, this is fresh and very energetic with fresh cut pear, bright meyer lemon and some brisk wet stone minerality. Right in my wheelhouse and a super Champagne - especially at the price point. 93(+)pts.
