Wednesday, July 12, 2023 - Langton's Bordeaux En Primeur 2022 tasting (Langham Hotel, Kent Street, Sydney): A little clay, black plums, sweet spice, alcohol prickle, tiny red berry and almost pencil shaving note here as well. Juicy, fleshy, the red berry fruit more forward on the palate, fine powdery tannins offer a framework rather than dominating, a little plummy underpin. Alcohol warmth is a teensy bit too intrusive though this is otherwise rather pleasant.
