Thursday, April 4, 2024 - Colour: medium(+) ruby
Nose: medium(+) intensity, secondary, youthful. Red and black plum, red cherry, strawberry. Leather, earth. Cedar, nutmeg, cinnamon, dark cocoa. Very plush and warm and earthy, like old leather.
Palate: dry, medium(+) acidity, medium(-) tannins, medium alcohol (13,5%), medium(-) bodied. Medium(+) intensity, medium length finish. Red and black plum, red cherry, strawberry, cranberry. Leather, earth. Cedar, nutmeg, cinnamon. Fresher and more acid-driven than the nose implies.
Conclusions: very good. Can drink now, but suited to further ageing. P&P (pop&pour), not decanted.
