Thursday, June 24, 2010 - Medium color, strong nose of damp earth, saddle leather, Provençal herbs, licorice, and red raspberries. The palate was a bit tight one night 1 revealing the structure of this wine. On day it had loosened up to reveal a gorgeous, supple texture of dark red fruit, with a savory mid-palate and insanely long finish. I agree with Steffen's review below as it does remind me a bit of a younger version of the 2001 Henri Bonneau CDP and is reminiscent of the 2004 Charvin, but a bit more refined and elegant.
