Wednesday, March 19, 2008 - Reticent for a KB; it takes a long, long while to open up. The nose is slightly candied, with cherries, menthol, and nutmeg the main elements. The palate's more intense, with raspberry and sharp spice showing up by the last glass. The eternal finish turns an otherwise good wine into a very good one. This one is perfectly consistent, both stylistically and qualitatively, with the '04 and '05 versions.
