Saturday, February 20, 2016 - Popped & poured; an initial musty note blew off quickly to reveal ripe blackberry fruit and ferrous/iron notes.

Medium-bodied on the palate, slightly dilute but pretty nice, especially when taken in the context of the vintage. Sweet/tart blackberry fruit, and reasonable persistence on the finish. The nose here is more complex than the palate.
