Sunday, June 22, 2008 - Tasted side-by-side with the 1997 Las Cases - which it clearly outpowered. I am very surprised that this wine was so good, coming from a terrible vintage. Perfectly mature, strong cedarbox and leather/tobacco. This will live for several years more - as it improved over the 4 hours it was consumed.
