Initial nose was still vegetal but opened in less than an hr to a very pleasing aromatic bouquet of red rip fruit, on the pallet is was mouth coating, rewarding and smooth. About a 30 second linger on taste and not very complex or would have scored better, however for the price and vintage I would love it if I had more, I guess we'll just have to see how the '07 is coming along.
