Sunday, April 21, 2024 - Excellent bottle and outstanding qpr. I'm not a fan of the overt citrus in California Sav Blanc. Mike Smith did a brilliant job cutting it with 70% Sémillon. The nose gives off that deepness I associate with a high class white bordeaux. It is distinctively Napa though. This wine really should be drunk closer to 55-60°. When served at first the pallette was muted and thin. As it warmed up the flavors released beautifully.
