Saturday, March 2, 2024 - Vietti Rocche Vertical: PnP over an hour. Served blind. It was immediately apartment when this was brought out that it would be the star of the evening. Beautiful violet, red ruby in the glass. Aromas of dried leather, pomegranate, florals, cooked cherries, and smoked meats. The palate was smooth as velvet with layers and layers of brighter, powerful red fruits, with a fresh level of saline and acidity to round out this incredible wine. My WOTN and my WOTY so far! 96-97
