Thursday, August 20, 2009 - Dinner with Greg and Sayo (Their Place, Hong Kong): Rich golden colour. Big oaky, minerally nose with ripe melon and ripe pineapple Thick and glyceriney on the palate but not unpleasantly so, with similar taste to the nose plus some fresh figs. A big wine but not flabby. Some length. Went well with the moules marinieres and with the fresh french oysters but rather monolithic. Too heavy to drink without food.
