2021 Keplinger Fuego y Mar

Friday, April 12, 2024 - Splash decant. Nearly opaque intense purplish magenta color. Barbecue brisket and blackberry pie sum this up quite nicely. Smooth, dry, dusty palate. Firm, medium intensity tannins on the medium long+ finish.

This is youthful, but one of the better Syrahs I’ve had recently. 100% Syrah from the Silver Eagle Vineyard.
