Thursday, October 15, 2009 - NSMFOW October 2009--Blind BYO--Ladies Bring a Chardonnay and Gentlemen Bring a Pinot Noir (The Grapevine, Salem, MA): Similar to my previous note: Golden color. Nose of apples and pears. Palate of same with lots of butter and oak. Some citrus giving some backbone but overall low on the acidity front. Decent wine but a bit of a disappointment given the ratings. Guessed CA Chard. Brought by Linda.
