Wednesday, November 23, 2022 - Strong floral, earthy and oaky nose. The hallmark "old dry mop" odor, which is present in most of the older Burgundy wines (especially the ones from Richebourg and La Tache) was very noticeable.
Decanted from the bottle for an hour. Initial taste was smooth and elegant, with hint of dark berries and mineral. After taste lingered on for a good few minutes. This wine went very well with roasted turkey.
