92 Points

Saturday, November 10, 2012 - Opened and poured the first night. No detailed notes from Day 1. It was rather shy on the nose, elegant but reserved on the palate. On Day 2, a profound improvement. Delicate red fruit and florals on the nose, which reminds me of a lady who knows how to use perfume. Doesn't bathe in it, just enough to offer a hint. On the palate, medium-light in overall body, but plenty of complexity and intensity, packaged in a velvet glove. Just a hint of resin on the finish to give it length. Delicate, feminine. Not much to detect in terms of earthiness / gaminess. Very elegant. 92+ points given the style, which I wouldn't have every day. I actually enjoy this wine tonight more than that score would indicate.
