Wednesday, July 22, 2020 - Decanted 2 hours. Color is still relatively young. Nose has faint fruit but not the red cherry of the 2007 a few nights ago - more muted. On the palate this also has less of the red cherry fruit and more mineral and earth than the 2007. All in a reasonable wine that I am not sure will ever improve much - maybe a touch with more age and complexity, but for me this falls a bit short of the professional ratings at this point in time. B+/A-?
