Tuesday, October 20, 2020 - nice wine, not quite as brutish as some of the 2006's can be... tho this was full bodied for a red burg it still had some 'light on its feet' elements, medium acidity but enough to hold up the body, palate was full of dark cherry hard candy (ie not too sweet), some sort of good black note (not smoke... but something pleasantly aggressive... maybe black licorice?), feel like it has at least another ten years to go, good drinking by itself (without meal) and I definitely liked it as much or more on night two
