Monday, September 27, 2010 - Clear light straw coloured core with a white watery rim.
The nose comes off muted with only faint citrus, mineral and vegital notes present.
On the palate, fresh acidity salivates the mouth and is restrained only by the moderate fruit intensity of tart gooseberry, key lime, starfruit and green unripe apple. It really is a punch of flavor that gets backed up with tons of flinty minerality and a long mineral laden finish.
I found this quite delicious and look forward to seeing it gain more complexity. Drinks beautifully now but holding on to it for a few years will be beneficial. Drink now - 2018
Outstanding Quality. 92 pts.
