Thursday, March 17, 2011 - Impressive value. This is still young but in a good place to pair with somee hearty food. Tannins have a good bite and the tart cherry acids balance the rusticity. The earthy meaty funky qualities are still at the front with this wine. The wine had me thinking Hermitage. Right now this needs some air and a good food match. I will hold of for 3-5 years for my next bottle.
