Saturday, October 16, 2010 - This has been cellarstored more or less since purchase. I was surprised that the fruit was still ok. I would say it felt more like red fruits and than black. Was a bit stewed when I opened it. That blew off after a few minutes. Did not decant. It was a little bit like an older Bordeaux of a similar bottle age, but with that warmer fruit feel. A bit of wood coming through, and some carbon/graphite feel maybe nearer to open time. That sifted out quite a bit. I thought it was drinking well. Very nice for sure, not super complex but very good. There was some secondary flavour, but not esp earthy or leathery etc than Bord' can acheive. Length was also very good.
