This wine was no exception, although not as fresh as some younger vintages. Nevertheless, great for one or two small glasses.

TN: Nose a bit muted at first, opening up a little but clearly lacking the sensation of the palate and finish where you get quince, apricots, lemons, lots of tropical fruit, honey, some cranberries. Luscious wine, with a very high acidity keeping this full-bodied, mouthcoating wine in balance and keeping it light. Very precise, complex and deep and a long finish.

Decanting: No decant needed. There is enough acidity left for 10+ years.
