Thursday, December 24, 2009 - Christmas 2009; 12/24/2009-12/26/2009: Wow. Big, complex, meaty red wine. The round flvors of merlot with gruff, rough and tumble earthiness. This has to be Washington State merlot- it has such terroir that I would not expect from California. Really nice and made here in Illinois from northwestern fruit!
