Friday, March 17, 2017 - Drank at the Bread Bar, Hamilton. This drank pretty much just as well as I thought it would. The nose is subtle of red berries, sour plum, tobacco, undergrowth, green herbs, and cedar. The palate is light and acidic with mellow tannin and a slightly bitter finish. Pretty much exactly what I would want from this early drinking vintage, but at the same time not terribly exciting either. Could probably go a few more years, but I doubt it will improve. I'm happy for the $34 CAD I paid for this.
