Saturday, May 25, 2013 - The wine is ready now and the nose is open from the start. We decanted but no need really. Open nose of light spice, dark fruits light leather. Really nice nose and probably the peak of the wine. No oak here and we would struggle to place is as a Californian. On the palate however it is light, lacks depth of flavour and is very short on the finish. Good wine, nice to enjoy now, well round and silky. 89-90
