Friday, December 12, 2008 - Delicious wine. Deep, dark color. Big, fruity nose with leather, tobacco, earth. Sweet cherries, plums, prunes, cocoa, tobacco, cinnamon. No heat, very nicely balanced, smooth tannins, long finish. Drinking very, very well now - not sure how much longer it will hold. Will try another bottle next year.
