Sunday, October 3, 2010 - Medium garnet red, dark for a pinot. Aromas of leather, plum, and a blend of cherry, strawberry and raspberry. Also had hints of vanilla and carmel. Flavors of plum, strawberry, smoke and leather. Acids and tannins were present and at this time not in harmony. I expect since this wine is still young, there may be time for these two to play nice with each other. Medium finish. For the price, a pleasant, no expectation wine.
