Sunday, October 7, 2012 - A well-travelled bottle, imported by Michael Skurnik, Winebid.com back label, purchased at Christie's in Amsterdam in June 2011. Perfect level, label and cork. Lovely rich yellow gold colour; impressive aromatic profile of tropical fruit, flowers, wax, spice and minerals; excellent density and tension, medium-dry, juicy, lip-licking acidity; very good length, honeyed. An outstanding 2000. Completely intact two days later.
