Thursday, November 28, 2013 - Thanksgiving 2013; 11/26/2013-11/30/2013 (Colorado): Medium dark magenta color, long legs. Nose was fresh and clean, crushed dark fruits, hints of leather and smoke, subtle trace of grapeseed, almost like this is a Cab blend. Palate is dark and jammy but not hot, woody herbs, even tannins. Lasting and complete, really balanced. You would not know this was Petite Sirah without the label, tastes like Napa Cab blend. Excellent winemaking, drinking nicely now.
