Tuesday, September 10, 2013 - Medium-light golden yellow in color. Full, forward and assertive nose of ripe fruit aromas of apples, pineapples, pears, spices, overtones of butterscotch/caramel, vanilla and toasted oak. Full, forward with balanced, well integrated & well developed, round, rich, ripe fruit flavors of pineapples, apples, citric notes of lemons/limes, butterscotch/caramel, vanilla bean and toasted oak. Long lingering finish with a slight touch of heat in the background. It may be at its peak although it should stay at this plateau for several more years easily if cellared properly.
