Sunday, June 5, 2011 - Blind Syrah Tasting w/ Ryan Johnson, Dick Boushey, Eric LeVine, and MrBigJ (Wild Ginger, Seattle, WA): The nose of this wine had aromas of citrus zest, honey and perfume. What a great nose, but there was a disconnect with the palate. Nice flavors of apricot and some tart citrus flavors were present, but it was also pretty hot. A boozy, cocktail wine... but it did have a great nose.
