Initially reductive aromas that faded out quickly to give way to peachy, buttery, citrus and mellon aromas with nicely integrated roasted almond-like oak. Full bodied, dense and creamy with sweetness, big fruit, balancing acidity and a long and delicious aftertaste of roasted almonds. Much more evolved compared to the 2007 recently tasted, mainly due to smaller bottle size (plus an extra year in the bottle).
