Thursday, November 10, 2011 - Equivelant of a Burgundy premier cru. Medium lemon with intense MLF aromas of butter & hazelnut wrapped around a core of stone fruit and pear. Hints of flowers/honeysuckle. Creamy with refreshing acidity and medium alcohol and body. Some minerality is also there. Overall an outstanding wine from ripe and fresh fruit, that is expressive and well structured. Oak is fantastic bringing all elements together. Chardonnay with Grechetto. Viva Italia!
