Thursday, September 12, 2013 - Beet red color in the glass, nose of smoke, earth, dust, cassis, and mushy black cherry fruit, more of the same on the palate, hints of rich gunpowder tea on the mid palate, opened to raspberry fruit after ten minutes, medium body, soothing, continued to open nicely, medium finish. Drink up. Tasted this and three other Kennedy cabernets with Kathryn many years ago and bought this bottle that day. Thank you Kathryn for the wine and the memories.
