Monday, June 14, 2004 - Solid purple color right to the rim. Decanted for 2 hours. Intriguing nose of rasberry liqueur, cilantro and cinammon. very nice. The palate was lively and suprisingly elegant for such a youngster, layers of ripe plum, blackberry and hickory smoked pepper steaks coat the mouth. Still very primary, a wine with great potential and suprisingly present backbone of acidity and ripe tannins - which i loved. At this stage I could have never guessed Pomerol, but fantatic wine to be cellared another 3+ years.
