Saturday, March 11, 2006 - Golden yellow in color, with a quite oxidized nose. With lots of air, the fruit came out to play - pear, lime, wool and lanolin. This took 3 hours to even start to open up on the palate, then the classic savennieres flavours doing the oxidized/creamy flavour tightrope. Needs 10 years! (A-). Not as ready as the 'Cuvee Speciale' of the same year.
