Thursday, April 11, 2024 - Cork easily extracted with a Durand but wet nearly to top. Pale ruby colour on pouring into Zalto glasses, oxidising to a cola colour within a few minutes. Some grainy sediment at the end of the bottle.
Nose of spice and leather, flavour of balsamic strawberry and spice. Mouthfeel of warming old pinot, high acidity. A treat from the past!
