Wednesday, April 4, 2012 - Bottle may have been open several hours, so hard to score. Intense nose of autolysis, caramel, baked quince, creamy butterscotch and preserved lemon. Full bodied with classic aged krug qualities. Rich oaky oxidative dried apple and quince with butterscotch, autolysis, preserved lemon and chalk. Long finish. Must have been a stunner fresh after opening. Potential 96.
