91 Points

Saturday, January 11, 2014 - Opened first of my 3 to make sure not getting over the hill. It's not. 3 hour audoze and it still has good tannin. Beautiful big aromas and pinot flavors. There is a decent touch of oak so age will help from that front. Pretty light on its feet for a California but it does have a touch of the New world Pinot sappiness. It has very transparent sweet favors that with the oak and tannin going away in time may be very interesting. As bottle develops aromas explode more but taste is more singular and sappy so I am interested what time will do. Very balanced for California and I think in 5 years it will open up and potentially be 2-4 points higher.
