Friday, November 2, 2012 - Brunello Di Montalcino had two great vintages in 2006 & 2007. This is 100% Sangiovese and had a very nice nose of fresh red fruit and dark cherries. It seemed to be full of pepper and the elements were nicely blended with tannins and acidity. The finish was mid length. This paired very well with a nice mild Mediterranean dinner at Mariciano's in Memphis.
