Sunday, March 24, 2013 - We let this decant for about an hr prior to tasting and having had this before it helped a lot. Cherry, raspberry, plum and a touch of leather on the nose. The tannins were tight but manageable and didn't overwhelm. The finish was very nice and added to the experience. Really bright red fruit notes on the notes on the finish and overall a solid wine that pairs well with a hearty pasta or a tenderloin.
