So wonderfully composed bottle of wine, with juicy dark fruit coated with a patina of brushed on smoky tar, violets, forest floor and truffles. Wonderful cocoa-ed tannins give this a great presentation frame. Refined, deep, delicious. Honestly, I think it was better tonight than the three '98 Barolos.
